Network-fault recovery is performed by, first, detecting whether a network fault is present. Upon detecting a network fault, determining a network recovery strategy according to an arbitration rule, and executing the network recovery strategy, until network recovery or until execution of the network recovery strategy is complete. The arbitration rule is related to network fault severity and/or network recovery operation priority. The network recovery strategy includes: one or more network recovery operations to be executed. Network faults can be automatically repaired, thereby improving the user experience.
