The invention relates to a method () for generating a fuzzing harness (). According to the method (), a piece of software source code () is provided. A target function () to be fuzzed and a sample program () that calls the target function () are selected from the software source code (). The sample program () is then compiled to generate bit code () and the target function () is sliced from the bit code (), based on the target function (), to obtain the fuzzing harness ().
