A method and apparatus are provided, in which a cross-link interference measurement configuration is received (), where the cross-link interference report configuration includes an event-trigger based report configuration, where the event-trigger based report configuration comprises at least one condition of an event. The at least one condition of the event is evaluated (), based on a set of measurement quantities for a cross-link interference resource associated with the cross-link interference report configuration. A measurement report is sent (), in response to the at least one condition of the event being fulfilled based on the evaluation.
