Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for allocating resources based on field information. One method () includes receiving (), at a user equipment (“UE”), downlink control information (“DCI”) that allocates sidelink (“SL”) resources. The DCI includes a first field indicating whether the SL resources are allocated for a SL positioning reference signal (“PRS”) (“SL-PRS”) transmission. The method () includes, in response to the first field indicating that the SL resources are allocated for the SL-PRS transmission, performing () the SL-PRS transmission based at least partly on the DCI. The method () includes, in response to the first field indicating () that the SL resources are not allocated for the SL-PRS transmission, initiating a physical SL shared channel (“PSSCH”) transmission.
