The backlight module comprises a backlight circuit, a backlight driving circuit and a backlight control circuit; the backlight driving circuit comprises a charging power supply, an inductor, a charging control circuit and a first energy storage circuit. The charging control circuit controls the connection or disconnection between the second end of the inductor and the first voltage end under the control of the charging control voltage; the first energy storage circuit is electrically connected with the second end of the inductor and used for storing electric energy; the backlight control circuit comprises N backlight control units; the nth backlight control unit controls the connection or disconnection between the second electrode of the nth light-emitting element and the nth sampling voltage end under the control of the nth backlight control voltage; n is a positive integer smaller than or equal to N, and N is a positive integer. Electric energy is provided by using the electricity storage characteristic of the first energy storage circuit, and the instant power supply current of the charging power supply is reduced.
