The display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer, the first base plate comprises a first substrate base plate; the second base plate comprises a second substrate base plate; a plurality of supporting structures located in the display area are further arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The plurality of supporting structures comprise a plurality of first supporting structures, a plurality of second supporting structures and a plurality of third supporting structures; the second supporting structure is adjacent to the first supporting structure in the first direction or the second direction, and the third supporting structure is not adjacent to the first supporting structure in the first direction or the second direction; the second supporting structure comprises a first auxiliary spacer; at least part of the second supporting structure further comprises a retaining wall structure; the first auxiliary spacer is provided with a first surface facing one side of the second substrate; the first surface is not in contact with the retaining wall structure.
