The method comprises the following steps: determining a front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio of a vehicle according to a driving parameter group of the vehicle; under the condition that the front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio is larger than or equal to the preset front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio, the front axle demand torque and the rear axle demand torque of the vehicle are determined according to the total demand torque of the vehicle and the front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio; under the condition that the front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio is smaller than a preset front and rear axle demand torque distribution ratio and the vehicle has the first steering intention, a first steering promotion control slope is determined based on the vehicle speed of the vehicle; the larger one of the front axle demand torque and the rear axle demand torque is increased according to the first steering promotion control slope, and the smaller one of the front axle demand torque and the rear axle demand torque is reduced according to the first steering promotion control slope, so that the driving controllability of the vehicle during steering can be improved.
