The invention discloses an electrolyte, a battery and electric equipment, the electrolyte comprises an electrolyte salt, an additive and water, the electrolyte salt comprises a zinc salt, the structural general formula of the additive is # imgabs0 #, at least one of R1 and R2 is a nitrogen-containing group, and n is an integer greater than 1. According to the electrolyte, the additive with the nitrogen-containing group is adopted, nitrogen element substitution is carried out through the action of oxygen and water on a long ether chain and through an organic solvent molecule terminal group, lone pair electrons on nitrogen atoms in the nitrogen-containing group can be coordinated with water, and therefore the activity of water molecules is reduced; and the irreversible parasitic reaction of the electrolyte and the zinc metal negative electrode is inhibited. The additive can form a passivation layer with zinc metal after being decomposed to further prevent side reaction between an electrode and the electrolyte, so that the electrochemical stability window of the electrolyte and the coulombic efficiency of the zinc metal are improved, and the long cycle stability of the electrolyte is improved.
