A production line for a metal strip, a method of producing a metal strip, and a method of determining acceptability of a metal strip can reliably perform quality assurance regarding the warpage shape of a metal strip. The production line for a metal strip includes a heating unit () that continuously heats a metal strip being conveyed, a cooling unit () that cools the metal strip heated in the heating unit, a shape adjustment unit () that performs shape adjustment of the metal strip cooled in the cooling unit, a first warpage shape measurement unit (), located downstream of the shape adjustment unit, that measures a warpage shape of the metal strip, and a warpage shape identification unit () that identifies positional information from a tip of the metal strip and identifies a correspondence relationship between the warpage shape and the positional information from the tip.

Provided are cutting equipment for steel strips and a cold rolling line that allow for accurate laser cutting of joint portions between continuous steel strips. The cutting equipment for steel strips () includes: a joint portion detection device () configured to detect a joint portion () in which a rear end of a preceding steel strip and a front end of a succeeding steel strip are joined; an end portion detection device () configured to detect end portions of the steel strips; a vibration prevention device () configured to prevent vibration of the steel strips; and a cutting device () configured to laser cut a vicinity of the joint portion, wherein the end portion detection device and the vibration prevention device are provided on separate stands from each other.

This production method includes modifying such water-containing bulk material with the above modifying method.

Provided is a stainless steel sheet for a fuel cell separator that combines both excellent press formability and resistance to Fe ion elution. The stainless steel sheet has a chemical composition containing, in mass %, Cr: 18.0% to 24.0% and Ni: 3.00% or less. The steel microstructure includes an austenite phase and a ferrite phase, where the fraction of the austenite phase is 30% or more and the total fraction of the austenite phase and the ferrite phase is 95% or more. Total elongation of the stainless steel sheet is 40% or more.
