A closure system includes a fastening article, a fastening device and a lace. The fastening article includes a main frame and at least one guiding portion. The fastening device is disposed at the main frame and includes at least one gear rack including an inner end and an outer end, a gear engaged with the inner end, a knob coupled to the gear and an engaging. The lace passing through the main frame and the guiding portion, and one end of the lace is connected to the outer end. As the knob is rotated in a tensioning direction by a force, the gear is rotated to drive the gear rack, and the lace pulls the guiding portion to move close to the main frame.
