A tool kit for minimally invasive implantation of a tendon fixation implant in the field of arthroscopic human medicine is provided. The tendon fixation implant includes a medial anchor, a lateral anchor, and a base plate. The tool kit includes a medial anchor inserter having a medial anchor drive mandrel and a medial anchor release tube. The medial anchor release tube is designed to receive the medial anchor drive mandrel. The medial anchor drive mandrel is designed both to receive a medial anchor and to introduce the medial anchor into bone by driving it into the latter.
