A vibration damping structure includes a panel member, a vibration damper, and a restriction layer. The vibration damper has a plurality of protruding parts each extending continuously along a first direction being a direction in which the vibration damper is to be stretched or compressed in response to application of a bending load to the panel member, and spaced away from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a plurality of recessed parts each formed between two protruding parts adjacent to each other among the protruding parts.
