A stabilizing apparatus for stabilizing a motorcycle or like vehicle during operation includes a first mounting bracket and a second mounting bracket. The first and second mounting brackets are configured to fixedly mount to a rear wheel frame of the motorcycle on opposite sides of the motorcycle from each other, and each of the first and second mounting brackets comprises a rigid material.
