Disclosed is a surveillance camera capable of detecting a color of a vehicle using vehicle logo detection. This specification describes a method that, instead of processing an entire image of a vehicle, detects the vehicle's logo and expands a bounding box of the detected logo to analyze a dominant color within the expanded bounding box for higher accuracy. During a dominant color analysis process, color correction may be performed based on metadata, environmental factors, and a lighting condition. In addition, more accurate vehicle color detection may be achieved through color distance measurement.
