A display device includes a control circuit. The control circuit transmits a gate control signal to a gate drive circuit so that part of a first period in which a gate signal is supplied to a gate line GLoverlaps with part of a second period in which a gate signal is supplied to a gate line GLand which starts at a time point later than a start time point of the first period. The control circuit transmits a source control signal to a source drive circuit so that each of a first switch and a second switch is turned on once in one cycle of a horizontal synchronization signal.
