This application discloses a charging method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium, where the method includes: during a process of charging a secondary battery, charging the secondary battery with a first charging current until a SOC of the secondary battery reaches a preset value; and under a condition that the SOC of the secondary battery reaches the preset value, charging the secondary battery with a second charging current. A minimum value of the first charging current is greater than a maximum value of the second charging current. A positive electrode active material of the secondary battery includes LiMPO, where M includes Mn and Fe elements.
