Polarization code encoding and decoding method and device

The invention discloses a polarization code encoding and decoding method and device used for optimizing a scheme for determining a check bit position and improving the overall performance of a Polar code. The method comprises the following steps: determining an information bit position of an information bit before encoding, and determining a check bit position of a check bit to be inserted in theinformation bit, wherein the check bit position and the information bit position are determined according to the reliability and/or row weight sorting; and the reliability is the reliability of a polarization channel where the bit position is located, and the row weight is the row weight of a row vector corresponding to the polarization channel in a polarization code generation matrix; and performing polarization code encoding or polarization code decoding according to the information bit position and the check bit position. Compared with the prior art, the check bit position is determined bycombining the reliability and the row weight sorting, which is beneficial to ensure the verification capability of the check bit on the checked information bit, and improve the overall performance ofthe Polar.
