Water dispenser and control method thereof

The invention relates to the technical field of drinking equipment, and provides a water dispenser and a control method thereof. The water dispenser comprises a heat storage module, a heating module, a pumping piece and a control module. The water inlet end of the heat storage module communicates with a water supply system; the water inlet end of the heating module communicates with the water outlet end of the heat storage module, and the water outlet end of the heating module selectively communicates with the heat storage module or the water outlet through the valve control part. The pumping piece is used for driving water flow to flow to the heating module through the heat storage module; the control module is electrically connected with the heating module, the pumping piece and the valve control piece. When the temperature of the heat storage material is smaller than a first preset value, the control module controls the valve control part to communicate the water outlet end of the heating module with the heat storage module and controls the pumping part and the heating module to start running. Hot water output by the heating module can be used for heat storage of the heat storage module, and large-flow hot water supply is achieved in an energy-saving and efficient mode.
