The coating device comprises a first die head and a second die head which are connected with each other, a runner is formed between the first die head and the second die head, and the runner comprises a feed port and a discharge port; at least part of the adjusting part is detachably arranged in the flow channel, the adjusting part is used for adjusting the size of materials in the width direction when the materials are discharged out of the discharging port, and the width direction is perpendicular to the stacking direction of the first die head and the second die head and perpendicular to the direction from the feeding port to the discharging port. According to the coating device for coating the pole piece and the battery production system, the pole piece coating efficiency can be improved.
