Micro-ring structure and related time delay device

The invention relates to a micro-ring structure and a related time delay device. The micro-ring structure comprises an inner micro-ring formed by a waveguide material; the external waveguide surrounds the internal micro-ring and is provided with a light input end and a light output end, and the internal micro-ring and the external waveguide are provided with a first coupling point and a second coupling point which are used for splitting light between the internal micro-ring and the external waveguide; the first electrodes are arranged along the two sides of at least one section of the inner micro-ring, and the at least one section is suitable for being used as a first electrode modulation section so that refractive index modulation can be carried out under the action of the first electrodes; the second electrodes are arranged along the two sides of at least one section of the outer waveguide, and the at least one section of the outer waveguide is suitable for being used as a second electrode modulation section so as to perform refractive index modulation under the action of the second electrodes; wherein light is adapted to enter the microring structure from the light input and then exit the microring structure at the second coupling point at least partially via the light output.
