The damping module comprises an elastic module and an even number of friction assemblies, each friction assembly comprises an intermediate shaft and a gear piece, each intermediate shaft comprises a shaft body and a mounting part, the shaft bodies are connected with the base, the mounting parts are arranged on the shaft bodies, and the mounting parts are provided with conical grooves. The gear piece comprises an inserting part, the inserting part is provided with a conical face, the inserting part is inserted into the conical groove, and the conical face abuts against the groove face of the conical groove under the action of the elastic force of the elastic module. The even number of friction assemblies are located between the first rotating assembly and the second assembly, a first swing arm of the first rotating assembly and a second swing arm of the second rotating assembly rotate around the base to drive the gear piece to rotate around the middle shaft, and therefore the conical face and the groove face of the conical groove move relatively to generate friction force. The friction force can be used as the state holding force of the electronic equipment, and the hovering function of the electronic equipment in any state can be realized.
