Wavelength selective switch and related optical device

The invention relates to a wavelength selective switch and related optical equipment. The wavelength selective switch comprises a 2D optical fiber array comprising a first column of optical fibers and a second column of optical fibers, the optical fibers in the second column of optical fibers and the optical fibers in the first column of optical fibers are alternately arranged along a switching direction, and the second column of optical fibers are offset by a predetermined distance relative to the first column of optical fibers along a dispersion direction; the dispersion unit is configured to perform dispersion on the first light beam from the first light path adjusting component so as to generate a plurality of first sub-light beams corresponding to different wavelengths; and an optical switching engine configured to receive the plurality of first sub-beams and operably adjust the directions of the plurality of first sub-beams so as to be incident back to the dispersion unit, wherein the dispersion unit is further configured to combine at least part of the incident first sub-beams to generate a combined second beam, and guide the second beam to the output port through the first optical path adjusting component.
