The window display method comprises the steps that a first operation is obtained, the first operation indicates that a plurality of second application windows included in a desktop are associated, and the desktop further comprises a first application window; according to the first operation, under the condition that the first application window is kept to be displayed on the desktop, the second application windows are displayed as a window group, the window group further comprises association indications corresponding to the second application windows, and the association indications are used for distinguishing the window group from the first application window; the window group is configured to minimize the plurality of second application windows when the window group is triggered to be minimized, and restore the plurality of second application windows to be displayed at the display position before the minimization when the window group in the minimization is triggered to be displayed on the desktop. According to the method, the window group and the free window can be displayed on the desktop at the same time, a user can call the window group and the free window at the same time on the same desktop, the free window can be flexibly called conveniently in the working process, and the free window does not need to be added into the window group.
