Provided method for preparing arhizome extract, the method comprises: drying and pulverizing the plant raw materials, then extracting with an aqueous ethanol solution to obtain an extract liquid; concentrating the extract liquid, and extracting same with an organic solvent to obtain an aqueous-phase product and an oil-phase product; and performing molecular distillation on the oil-phase product to remove turmeric oleoresin and obtain the product. This extract is safe with low toxicity, rapidly biodegradable, and less likely to induce drug resistance. This extract is combined with both an emulsifier and a solvent to prepare an emulsifiable concentrate which to control the plant powdery mildew. This emulsifiable concentrate exhibits stable physicochemical properties, a long storage period, and low toxicity to organisms in terrestrial environments.
