A liquid ejection head includes an ejection substrate including an ejection port row in a first surface, the ejection port row having a plurality of ejection ports configured to eject liquid arranged in the ejection port row, and a protective member configured to be bonded to the first surface of the ejection substrate via an adhesive, the protective member including a first opening corresponding to the ejection port row.
