A cover is configured for covering conveyor component, such as a support for a guiderail for guiding one or more articles during conveyance. The support may comprise a portion of an actuator for actuating the guide rail to move in a direction transverse to a conveying direction. The cover may include a plurality of segments adapted to interconnect and articulate relative to one another, such as for assuming a straight and/or curved configuration, or a particular length of cover. Related methods are also disclosed.
