A system, a terminal, a server, an image display method, and a program for detecting access to a first character image and for transmitting a second character image to which the first character image is changed are provided. A system includes a server including a first processor that provides a character image, and a terminal including a second processor that communicates with the server through a network, in which the second processor is configured to, in a case where access to a first character image is detected, transmit detection information to the server, and the first processor is configured to, in a case where the detection information is received, transmit a second character image to which the first character image is changed to the terminal.
