A system for monitoring a rotating device includes a sensing unit, a microcontroller and a response unit. The rotating device includes an operation module, and a circuit board electrically connected to the operation module for driving operation of the operation module. The sensing unit is adapted to be disposed on the circuit board, and is configured to generate first detection data related to movement of the circuit board and second detection data related to electrical properties of the circuit board. The microcontroller is configured to receive the first detection data and the second detection data and to generate a control signal. The response unit is configured to receive the control signal and to control operation of the operation module through the circuit board based on the control signal.
