Solar energy system with at least one solar panel which is firmly held in a frame. In an essentially vertical or upright default position, the frame holds the solar panel in an essentially vertical or upright position. The frame can be tilted out of the default position about a substantially horizontal tilting axis in the vertically lower area of the solar panel or about a substantially horizontal tilting axis extending below the solar panel when a deflection force acts on the solar panel transversely to the tilting axis.
