The method comprises: on the basis of at least two of a plurality of desired capabilities, a first core network element selecting one or more target core network elements from among network elements to be discovered, wherein the desired capabilities are capabilities to which a second core network element desire to subscribe, and the target core network element supports some or all of the plurality of desired capabilities.
