A light-emitting device includes: a light-emitting element; a light-transmissive member disposed on an upper surface and a lateral surface of the light-emitting element; and a light diffusion member disposed on an upper surface of the light-transmissive member. A lateral surface of the light-transmissive member is exposed from the light diffusion member.
