An integrated hydrogen-electric engine including an air compressor system, a hydrogen fuel source, a fuel cell, a heat exchanger, an elongated shaft, a motor assembly and a combustion chamber including a turbine downstream of the fuel cell configured to burn or catalytically react unburned hydrogen gas in the fuel cell waste, to drive the turbine to add additional torque to the shaft.
