A non-aqueous electrolyte includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive, wherein the additive includes a compound represented by Formula 1 below, and such non-aqueous electrolyte may be excellent in electrode film protection and an Oscavenging effect, so that cycle properties and resistance properties of a lithium secondary battery including the non-aqueous electrolyte may be simultaneously improved: all the variables are described herein.
