A modular solar array includes a plurality of panels, a splice connector, and a solar cell. Each one of the panels includes a first face sheet, a second face sheet, and a truss structure. The first face sheet includes a first lattice region. The second face sheet is spaced apart from the first face sheet. The truss structure connects the first face sheet and the second face sheet.
