A cosmetic kit is disclosed having a container and a shaving cap. The container comprises interior chamber containing a solidified gel of a micellar solution and a dispensing opening that exposes an outer surface of the solidified gel. The exposed surface of the solidified gel to a surface, like skin, and can be cleaned with the shaving cap, which removes at least a portion of the exposed surface of the solidified gel. The shaving cap comprises a planer surface and one or more openings or slits through the planar surface having shaving edges that shave the exposed surface of the solidified gel when applied against the exposed surface, for example, by rotating the shaving cap relative to the container with sufficient force to overcome shearing resistance of the solidified gel. The cosmetic kit is particularly useful for hygienically cleansing the skin.

The instant disclosure is drawn to an anhydrous hair treatment composition comprising: (a) one or more vegetable oils, wherein the one or more vegetable oils comprise about 25 wt. % or more of castor oil; (b) one or more emollients, wherein the one or more emollients comprise about 5 wt. % or more of caprylic/capric triglyceride; (c) one or more polymeric oil thickening agents; and (d) optionally, about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of one or more sensorially active agents; wherein the one or more vegetable oils of (a) and the one or more emollients of (b) are in a weight ratio of about 1:1 to about 4:1 ((a):(b)). A monophasic micellar water cleansing composition includes a combination of surfactants that include at least one biosurfactant and at least one polyglycerol ester surfactant, in particular, one of polyglycerol-3 and polyglycerol-4 ester surfactants, wherein the combination of surfactants provides a water rinsible composition that is visually clear and pleasing on application with high makeup removability. More particularly, the composition provides highly effective makeup removal exceeding the performance of at least one commercial benchmark having components that are considered effective but less desirable due to the presence of ingredients that are harsh and less natural. The micellar cleansing composition has a pH in a range from about 4 to about 8, and may be essentially free or free of PEG/POE surfactants.
