本发明公开了一种甲酰胺的制备方法。所述方法以氮掺杂活性炭负载钯为催化剂，在氨水中，氨、二氧化碳和氢气催化加氢反应生成甲酸铵，甲酸铵进一步脱水得到甲酰胺。所述的方法催化剂载体中氮元素掺杂改变了活性炭材料的表面结构，显著提高了氨水中二氧化碳加氢制甲酸盐的活性，实现温和条件下二氧化碳、氨和氢气催化加氢制备甲酸铵，且目标产物甲酰胺收率高。同时，所述方法为捕集转化二氧化碳提供了一种新方法，是一种绿色、低碳、经济的甲酰胺合成方法。
