本公开提供一种燃气热水设备及其预热循环控制方法。其中方法包括：在预热循环模式触发时，立即启动预热循环泵；当预热循环泵运行预定的延长时间段后，开始检测预热回水温度；若检测到的预热回水温度大于第一温度阈值时，使预热循环泵停止运行。通过在预热循环模式触发时立即启动预热循环泵、并延迟检测预热回水温度，可有效避免设备安装空间由于室温过高而导致预热循环功能不启动的问题。
