The invention discloses an image processing method and electronic equipment, and the image processing method comprises the steps: obtaining an initial image which is shot by AR equipment; and removing a foreground of the initial image, and performing background reconstruction on a foreground region to generate a first processed image. According to the image processing method provided by the invention, interference objects can be eliminated in a complex environment, so that a pure background image is obtained, and the background image can be reconstructed and updated in real time.
