The embodiment of the invention provides a task processing method and device, relates to the technical field of data processing, and is used for ensuring data consistency between layers in a database. The method comprises the steps that execution information of a target task at the current time is obtained, the target task is used for processing target data, and the execution information of the target task comprises the starting time and the ending time of the target data; and determining an upstream task of the target task and execution information of the upstream task. And if the target task and the upstream task are located in the same task execution period and the starting time of the data in the execution information of the target task is located after the ending time of the target data or is the same as the ending time of the target data, executing the target task according to the execution of the target task at the current time.
