The method comprises the steps that a time zone and a region/city name where a vehicle is located are determined; determining a real-time time based on the time zone; determining an official language corresponding to the region/city name; and taking the official language as a display language of a display device of the vehicle, and enabling the display device to display the real-time time based on the official language. By using the method, when the position of the vehicle changes, the real-time time of the vehicle display device can be switched in time.
