The bidirectional throttle valve comprises a sleeve, a first valve body, a second valve body, a first valve element and a second valve element, the first valve body and the second valve body are embedded in the first sleeve, a first valve cavity is formed in the first valve body, a second valve cavity is formed in the second valve body, a first throttle opening is formed in the side wall of the second valve body, and a second throttle opening is formed in the side wall of the second valve body. A second throttling opening is formed in the end wall of the second valve body. The first valve element and the second valve element are movably arranged in the second valve cavity, the side wall of the first valve element is attached to the inner wall of the second valve body and blocks the first throttling opening, and the side wall of the second valve element and the second valve cavity are arranged in a spaced mode and blocks the second throttling opening. The first valve element and the second valve element are arranged in a spaced mode, a valve element gap is formed between the first valve element and the second valve element, and a flow passing channel is formed in the first valve element in the axial direction so that the first valve cavity can communicate with the valve element gap. According to the technical scheme, controllable throttling in two directions is achieved through movement of the valve element.
